Since 1976, Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Montanuniversität Leoben have alternately organized the Gefüge & Bruch conference. From February 26 - 28, 2025, the 13th Microstructure & Fracture Conference will take place in Leoben, Austria. Renowned German, Austrian and Swiss researchers from the fields of materials science and engineering, failure analysis and fracture mechanics have been invited to speak. They will provide exciting insights into their research work, as well as valuable advice for practitioners and an outlook on expected development trends. In addition, an extensive poster exhibition will present current research results from young scientists (submission deadline for poster exhibition: 08.12.2024).
